Our opinion

Overlooks the beautiful and unspoiled Lake Peten Itza, where you can swim, canoe, kayak or fish, and just 30 minutes from Flores International airport and 45 minutes from Classic Maya city of Tikal.

Guest casitas are each furnished with Guatemalan furniture and fabrics. The Rainforest Casitas have a view of the surrounding forest and partial view of the lake, while the Lakeview Casitas offer a breathtaking panorama of the lake. A short walk takes you down to the lake where guests may choose to swim in the cool pristine waters or go fishing with a knowledgeable guide. La Lancha is a good choice for the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, nature, culture and comfort.
